Xia Jing is an internationally acclaimed guzheng virtuoso, Chinese music scholar, and intercultural art promoter. As a member of the Chinese Musicians Association, she has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Golden Bell Award (the highest honor in Chinese music), the Master-Apprentice Artist Award from the Southwest Folklife Alliance, and the Master of Chinese Traditional Musical Instrument title from the California State Senate.

As a distinguished performing artist, Xia Jing has graced stages around the world, touring in countries such as Switzerland, New Zealand, Spain, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and the United States. She has collaborated with renowned orchestras, including the Forbidden City Chamber Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, China National Traditional Orchestra, Huaxia Chinese Orchestra, Chandler Symphony Orchestra, and Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra.
