Wei Wu is a young percussionist, formerly a percussionist with the China Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a member of the Chinese Musicians Association and the Chinese Percussion Association, the founder of Amazing Culture & Arts, and a director of the China Music Foundation. Recognized for his exceptional insight into percussion solos and his unique performance style, he is acknowledged as an outstanding contemporary Chinese percussionist in the United States.

Wei Wu graduated with excellent grades from the Central Conservatory of Music. He was once called the youngest percussionist to showcase his talents at the first China Arts Festival and released his debut album, “Wei Wu Percussion.” In 2010, he won the gold medal in the ensemble category at the Second International Percussion Competition in China, attracting the attention and praise of industry professionals.

He has toured more than a dozen countries, including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, the US, Canada, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Wei Wu has collaborated with numerous world-renowned musicians, including pianist Lang Lang, conductors Yu Long and Christoph Eschenbach, violinist Itzhak Perlman, singers Andrea Bocelli, Liao Changyong, and Plácido Domingo, and rock singer Michael Bolton, performing various percussion pieces. His performances, marked by full passion and unique interpretation, have received high acclaim from his peers.

伍巍以优异的成绩毕业于中央音乐学院。曾被称为最年轻的打击乐演奏家在首届中国艺术节展现风采，发行《伍巍打击乐》首张专辑。2010年，在中国第二届国际打击乐大赛中获重奏组金奖，引起业内人士的瞩目及好评。

他先后出访了英，德，法，意，美，加等十几个国家及港、澳、台地区，并与世界知名钢琴家朗朗，指挥家余隆，克里斯托夫·艾森巴赫，小提琴家伊扎克·帕尔曼，歌唱家安德烈·波切利，廖昌永，普拉西多·多明戈，摇滚乐歌手迈克尔·波顿等数十位世界著名的音乐家合作，担任各类打击乐演奏，饱满的激情、独到的诠释，得到同行的高度评价。
